DON’T SHRED ON ME

Dave at Edison MFG Co. in San Diego asked me to come up with a new tee design for him and I was more than happy to oblige.
I’m pretty happy with the way this one came out.
You can buy this very tee from his website HERE.

200 ALTERNATIVE HORROR FILMS

Another production I had the pleasure of working on at Rue Morgue was the first in a line of many to come books that Rue Morgue will be releasing.
This first one is a 164 page book on “200 Alternative Horror Films You Need To See”. Every publication out there gives you their top 10 or 20 horror movies to watch and they are all the same, although great, predictable movies. This publication has a great selection of movies you have never heard of, or heard of, but never thought of watching.

Stoked to have been apart of it and trust me, it is worth every sent you spend on it.
Look for it in most good book stores and online HERE.

EVIL’S POISON FOR GOOD

A couple of months back I was approached by Social Laundry looking for an illustration for their next t-shirt.
I was more than happy to get involved as one, they pretty much let the artists do their own thing, and two, $2 of every t-shirt sale goes to a charity. I don’t think any more reasons were needed.

The end result was my “Evil’s Poison” design and I love what they have mentioned next to the shirt on their store page: “We love this agressive, hand drawn piece from our friend Andrew, who lives North of the border in Toronto. We’ve looked at it and looked at it and tried to interpret its meaning. We have some ideas but thought we would leave it up to you. Give us your ideas by commenting below.
Although there’s not really much of a meaning behind the design, there is a story behind it. But I think that’s the great thing about art…it’s up to the beholder to decide what they see and think of it.

Now support a good cause and purchase your very own “Evil’s Poison” t-shirt right HERE.

THE ZOMBOOK

News about the release of the illustrative zombie book “The Zombook” is slowly starting to hit the internet and news sites.
I was fortunate enough to be asked by the curator, Allan Graves, to submit an illustration along side some of the world’s top horror artists such as Dan Mumford, Ghoulish Gary, The Pizz, Eric Pigors and many more.
The book will be released on September 24.

HAUNTED HOUSE CREATIONS

As promised in my previous post, here’s what I have been working on over the past couple of weeks.

Haunted House Creations is a haunted house prop and special effects shop based in Toronto that specializes in the creation of pretty much anything you would find in your favorite haunted house. From zombies to bats, prisoners being electrocuted to an obese chef swaying with a plate of brain food. There’s nothing they can’t do, and at a quality you won’t believe.

They asked me to design a new look and feel for the company with a new logo, business cards and tees for their re-launch at the ScareFest convention that happened this past weekend. I was more than happy to oblige and below is the final outcome of the weeks of work.
Enjoy.
