BOFA SITE REVAMP
Hard to believe it’s been close to 5 years since bofagroup.com was designed. Keeping busy with other people’s projects does not leave me with much time to work on my own stuff.
So I’ve given the site and blog a slight revamp and finally have the online store up and running. More products to be added in the next couple of weeks.
For now, let me know what you think?
Thanks again to everyone who has visited the site, got some work from me or had a positive word to say regarding my work. It’s all very appreciated!
FAN EXPO 2013
Just wanted to give a huge thanks to Dave Alexander, Paige Reynolds, Gary Pullin, Angus Buyers and everyone who came out to the “If they came from within: an alternative history of Canadian Horror” panel that was held at this year’s Fan Expo / Festival of Fear event.
Had a great response to my poster which I was very surprised with and really appreciated the positive feedback. It was not an easy task doing a poster for THE Brandon Cronenberg, and being along side such talented artists as mentioned above was a definite honor!

HOT RODDER JOURNAL
I was fortunate enough to have some of my pinstriping featured in the new issue of Hot Rodder Journal.
Do yourself a favour and check out the free online mag. It’s packed with 140 pages of hot rodding goodness and eye candy to keep you busy for a long time.
Thanks to everyone involved in the mag.
HOMESICK SAN DIEGO
I’ve been a fan of The Gypsy Gentleman series since the first one came out, and I am very stoked to see their latest issue featuring a place that, although I am from South Africa, I consider to be home…San Diego. I used to live just up the road from Black Panther Tattoo, got my hair cut at Two Roses right next to Chicano Park and Rob Benavides did some artwork for a company I used to work for. Oh, and the burgers at The Station were amazing, haha.

DO IDEAS
The brilliant folks at 21 Tanks asked me design the cover of their new e-book entitled “Do Ideas” a while back, and it was finally launched on Friday.
Do yourself a favor and download this book. Visit the link HERE. It will cost you nothing (that’s right, it’s free) and it will be one of the best reads you’ve ever had.
If you’ve ever had an idea or a thought to do something and just never get around to doing it, then give this book a read and it might just be the kickstart you needed. A truly inspiring book with some great words of advice and wisdom from people that are involved with entertainment, banking, media, engineering and all walks of life.
NEW SITE UP AND LOADED
I’m happy to announce that the Breath Of Fresh Air Design website has had a make-over with a lot of changes, a new look and a new direction…the true direction.
There’s a whole lot of new work and projects that have yet to see the light of day now posted up along with some great hot roddin kustom work and tattoo flash paintings for your eyes to feast on.
I have also opened up an online store where you can now buy several of my prints and original kustom artwork and I will be adding more items as they become available. Check out the store HERE.
So let me know what you think of the new look-and-feel and click the “Sign Me Up” button to the left here to stay up to date with any new posts.
More exciting things to come…
MY ART SMELLS OF WHISKY
There’s something about the look and feel of a letter-pressed poster that stands out over a digitally printed one.
And I’m sure the fact that you can add a little whisky to the ink helps too.
Here’s to the end of another week and a couple of whiskys at the bar tonight!
